Looking for information on the Hollenbeck family of the Bas region of Canada. According to the 1851 census of Canada Abram Hollenbeck born around 1810 was married to Susanna Daton born 1814 or 1815. Their children were William, Alzina, Almeda, Hannah, Juliet, Harriet, Esther, Elizabeth, Peter and Ida. I have heard Abram (Abraham) was Dutch, and Susanna's father may be David Daton, also of Bas, Canada. I have not been able to go further back than that. I am also interested in Elizabeth, born in 1848. She later married Ed E Dhu and had five children. Three of them were Burton, Ida and Electa. She may have had a second marriage to Herman Plant and she did have a third marriage in Hardwick, VT to Nathaniel Bangs. Any help on this family would be very much appreciated.
