Margaret, Thanks for your kind offer. The Lewis Holsonbake, father of Jeptha, was Lewis Delano Holsonbake so far as I have been able to establish. And Jeptha's son was Lewis D. whose brother was James Knox Polk Holsonbake. I haven't been able to find any reliable documentation on the Lewis Devore name. The only source I've seen on that name is a book published by Chapman Publishing on Prominent Oklahomans -- and much of the info on the Holsonbake family therein has been disproved by other public records. I appreciate your help though.
