I am researching Catherine Josephine Houlihan who was born 6 Jan 1839 in/near Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. She immigrated arount 1857/8 via New York. She married James Monroe Grover in Bee County, Texas in 1860 and they settled near Echo, Live Oak County, TX on land that was part of the McMullen-McGloin Colony of San Patricio de Hibernia. James and Catherine had the following children: Fred L (1860), James Sidney (1862), George (1863), Maurice (1865), Emanuel Cornelius (1867/9), Frank B (1873), Lucy (1875), Herbert (1879), Bessie 1882. Catherine was the sister of Michael J Holland Sr (formerly Houlihan), born 1836 in/near Tralee, and who immigrated around the same time and settled in Altoona, Blair County, PA.
