William S. "Meredith" Stroud-bc1849IL.....his parents may have been John and Penelope or William "Robert" and Martha/Sarah. Siblings may have been Mary, Caroline, and Martha as well as others. I think he is listed as Robert in some documents. I believe he served in the Civil War and rose to Captain.........looking for any information on self or children.
