William was born abt 1799 in Canterbury,Kent,England..Died Dec 9 1861 in Williamsville,Sangamom,Il..he had 7 children by this 1st wife Anna Maria Sherwood,3 children by his 2nd wife Nancy Ann Brown Anderson..I'm decendant from the second marriage by way of Henry Clay Marshall born 1846..I know about ALL the children. It's William Engerman Marshall I know nothing about,there is never a listing for parents or brothers & sisters,what kind of man was he and what did he do to feed his family?? I've even posted on England,but nothing ever comes from my asking about the man of mystery in my family line,so his there someone where who can fill in the blanks??? Diana
