My gg grandmother is Martha M. Hayhurst DORRIS m Richard Thomas DORRIS - 20 Dec 1875 in Lockhart, Caldwell, Texas, USA She had nine children, only 6 lived through adulthood. Martha died in the settlement of Dewmaine, Carterville Twnshp, Williamson County, Illinois - between 1900-1904. My research for her connection to the Petty family is with: Hubert Petty Born: 30 Nov 1645 [city], Lancaster, Virginia, USA I am looking for information regarding Richard T. Dorris and his father, Stephen J. Dorris migration from Texas to Illinois after the 1880 Texas Census. Any information with the Petty family in Texas regarding their cousin Martha Matilda Hayhurst DORRIS? Can anyone assist with the location of her burial and date of death?
