Hi Leslie, Thank you for responding to this. I did find my great great grandfather Jacob after an exhaustive two year search. He came through Wisconsin with his wife Katherine about 1868 and settled in Colfax County, Nebraska. He worked for Union Pacific and was crushed in a snow shed near Tie Siding Wyoming in July of 1878. I found the obituary in a Laramie, Wyoming newspaper. It was an amazing feeling.
