Hi Damian, although I cannot personally connect to your message, I would just like tos say, that I have recently been researching in the 1840s timeframe in the area of NewInn/Knockgraffon in County Tipperary. I have found the surname Kavanagh and Power, on the baptismal records, from a search I did with Tipperary Heritage Unit. Have you got any certs. to go on that might give you some leads to Ireland, and perhaps other names like wittnesses and sponsors. Sheila
