Hi Vince, There are errors arising from the confusion about the 3 Peter Knapps b. 1741 in New England. Some people have mixed up the children of Peter of Rehoboth, MA and Peter of Marblehead, MA. I still see errors regarding the parents of Peter (Aaron's line), the places where Peter lived, which Peters served in the Rev. War, etc.. The more correct information can be found in the Knapp-L archives and in primary resources. How do you relate to Ephraim and does he fit in the line of Aaron of Taunton, MA? I come from Peter's son Mason Knapp and I hope to contact everyone who has posted the wrong information about him on ancestry.com. Lynn
