The fourth daughter and fifth child of Martha Ann Arrowood & William Andrew Couch was Maude Couch who was born in 1886 in Pottsville, Hamilton County, Texas. She died on July 29, 1947 in Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico. She married Walter Lee Koen on October 14, 1903; by S. R. Wood in Hamilton County, Texas. Walter was born on September 29, 1884 in Hamilton County, Texas. He died on September 5, 1948 in Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico. Walter's parents are Albert Perry Koen & Eunice Ann West (Hamilton County TX 1937 Voting Precincts: Koen, Mrs. A. P., Hamilton, Voting Precinct No. 1....Hamilton). Walter and Maude had three children that I know of. The first was Harmon West Koen who was born in 1907 in possibly Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico. NOTE:       My original info. Had his middle initial as Walter. I received West from the rootsweb obituaries. He died on December 22, 1939 in Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico.
