I am hunting the family of a Jadwiga Koss who came to the US on a ship called the S,S, Southwark from Austria. They came to be reunited with a brother Josef Koss who was my mother's grandfather. Josef was born in Czechoslovakia 2/14/1846 and died 2/6/1910 in Houston, Tx. After marrying Marie Yysusiloroa they set up housekeeping in Bay City, Michigan in 1894 they moved to LaGrange, Tx. I would appreciate any info on this family. Linda P.S. They had 7 children: Antonio, Louie, Joe,Jr., Rosie, Libby Marie, Charles (my grandfather) and Ellie Marie. _________________________________________________________ My great grandmother is Ellie Marie Koss-Blackman. I knew that she was from Houston, Texas and her parents were from from Czechoslovakia. Her son was Michael Blackman (my grandfather) and his daughter was June Blackman. (my mother) I was born in Pasadena, TX (South of Houston) and I was adopted....(that is why I have the last name Comeaux) however, I was reunited with my biological mother and other family members later in life. I currently live in Las Vegas and I am interested in knowing more about this side of my family. Any information would be helpful.
