I may have the answer to the long-lived ancestor, Joh Peter. I have Joh. Wendel's son Joh. Peter SR. b.27 Oct 1727 m. Anna Cathrina KRATZ (her 1726-1804) he d.17 Sep 1803. Someone may have combined the dates for Joh. Peter Sr. and Jr. I am descended from their daughter Anna Margaretha who married Joh. Peter Jaeger. His son, same name, emigrated to US ca 1865. My info from LDS films 1197096 and 097. I am somewhat able to decipher the old script but errors are always possible. I am excited that you added two generations before Joh. Wendel to my tree. I am always interested in sharing info, espcially with cousins. Distant Jaeger cousins still live in Dudenhofen and own an old inn, Zur Krone. If you have any contacts who can help with info on the town, I would be grateful to have their address.
