Looking for info on James Leard.(don't have a middle name, yet) He was 57 years old on the 1850 census from Gardiner, Maine. Birth year, approx 1793 either in New Castle, England or some where in Scotland. Wife's name Lydia Ripley. They had 11 or so children. One of his son's, John A., is listed as an evangelist, born in Jefferson, Maine and died in Cambridge, Mass in 1905. Help?
