Debra, Since my post I have found out his name may have been John Chauncey Linton. It is the only name I have at this point.I do not have a maiden name for his wife. He shows up on the New Haven, CT. 1880 census but no vital records there 1864-1895 so looks like he came from somewhere else, will work on that next. Sorry I can't help you. I'll post any new info I find. Karen
