A Hannah Lowe of Anson County NC, born about 1785, appears on several websites that come up on a search with Google or Yahoo. She is said to have married John Seago. Some GEDCOM files are also to be had at the WorldConnect site. There are some discrepancies in details among these sources, but the general consensus for her children seems to be: MARY SEAGO, born about 1805, died 1870 / 1880, Henderson County TN. She married Andrew Jackson Small. He was born about 1798, died 1840 / 1850. THOMAS SEAGO, born about 1806. He married Mary Ann Mayo. MARTHA SEAGO, born 29 January 1809 in Anson County, NC, died 14 April 1849. She married Calvin Spencer Pegue. He was born 18 January 1800, died April 1861. ELIZABETH SEAGO, born about 1810. She married 1 August 1833 in Greene County, IL, to Andrew J. Vance. He was born about 1815 in KY. CORNELIUS SEAGO, born about 1810 in NC. He married in 1831 to Elizabeth White. She died 16 June 1889 in Girard, IL. JOHN SEAGO, born about 1812 in Anson County, NC. He died 13 December 1869 in Henderson County, TN. He married 9 February 1836, Mary Ann Campbell. She was born about 1820, died about 1879 in IL. CHARLES SEAGO, born about 1814 in Anson County, NC. He married Mary "Polly" MacKey. DAVID SEAGO, born 1816 in Anson County, NC. He married 7 September 1841 in Jersey Co, Elizabeth Mankins. She was born 10 December 1816, died 19 March 1863. WILLIAM SEAGO, born 1817 in Anson County, NC. He married 2 February 1844 in Jersey County, Nancy Emeline Campbell. She was born about 1823 in NC. LEWIS SEAGO, born 1818 in Anson County, NC. He married 1 February 1842 in Jersey County, IL, to Prudence Marsh. DANIEL SEAGO, born about 1822 in Jersey County, IL. He married 8 December 1859 in Jersey County, IL, Ann Burch. JOSEPH SEAGO, born about 1824 in Jersey County, IL. He married 31 January 1861 in Jersey County, IL, Elizabeth Burgess. Regarding her parents: on Polly Moss's Eastern Cherokee Application #13926 filed with Commissioner Guion Miller about 1907, Polly Moss of Anson County includes a Hannah Lowe among her uncles and aunts. Polly's father, Thomas Lowe, was born about 1780, so this Hannah is in the right place and the right time to have been the same Hannah that is said to married John Seago. I am unaware of any candidates. IF SO, then Hannah's parents would be the Daniel Lowe and Martha Talent listed on Polly's application. Hope this helps!
