Hi David, If you reads it again it is saying...."up till 1900 you need the GRO ref number and from 1900 you either need the GRO ref number OR the exact details...e.g. date, parents names etc." OK So..the GRO ref for Harry Ernest is June Quarter Aston 6d-344.
