Hello fellow Ludfords....have done a little digging myself and didn't realise how intriguing it all is! It appears as though my family tree derives from the Ansley Hall Ludfords, near Mancetter, Warks (c1700) and plan a trip to the Sheakespeare Records Office as they seem to hold a lot of information regarding them. I will let you know what i find
