MaryLu: I did a search on the LDS Family search page and found a record showing a marriage of Horace Preston and Permillia Mattice 1831 , Schoharie, New York. There is no other information as to who submitted the record or where they got the information. It shows Permillia's parents as, John Isaac Mattice and Priscilla Layman so she would be the same Permillia that I have record of. There is no information on Horace's family. So it looks like we have been looking a two different Horace Preston's unless He went to New York in search of a wife, or Permillia was a mail order bride.
