Hello Matthew; My gt gt grandfather was named David McCabe. His wife was named Anna. I don't know his birth year or where he lived, but I do know that he had three childern - Anne (went to Scotland), James and Daniel (my gt grandfather) who were born in County Leitrim, Ireland in the 1820s. Your mention of David McCabe is the only reference to a David I have seen in my research. Mabey I should have been looking for him in Scotland? Any thoughts or possible connections. Any
