I am still looking for the information you seek.But to help you uptdate your information I'll tell you this.VA Marriage Index 1740-1850 shows Alex Magann Married Nancy A.White June 27,1850 in Amherst Co.The Magann name seemed to change into Mcgann with my Grandfather Roy Claude Mcgann.Hope this helps,David Mcgann
