Hi Michael: Nice to hear from one of Rolands descendants. Be happy to send you what I have. Contact me by e-mail with your e- mail address and i will get back to you. I have Rolands father and his children and grandchildren it is a VERY large family. Sam (Rolands father) was married twice and Roland was part of the first family. I have Thomas Roland and Robert Lee but only three of Robert Lee's children and Wilbur is not one of them. So, you will be able to help me fill in some blanks in that family. There are still quite a few of Sam's kin out there and i have been in contact with a number of them. His second family is VERY large. I guess you know that Thomas R. was married twice also, and that Robert Lee is part of the second family. His two wives were sisters and there were 15 children altogether. Several of the children (and I think his wife) died in what looks like a cholera epidemic. Lots more if you are interested.
