Hi Carrie,
I will trade you Moak information for Strong information. LOL
Looking for more info on GGGGrandmother Charity Moak, est. b:1798 in PA, married to Charles Strong (1795-1 Jan 1859) before 1819 we believe in Hamilton Co, OH. The Strongs were in Colerain Twp but are buried at Miamitown. Much of the family moved to Henry Co, IN. Charles was the father of Charles C. born 15 Aug 1834. Charles C. was the local schoolteacher but moved from the area after the premature death of his wife Katherine Palmer 4 Apr 1864. I have the youngest child being born in Jan 1863 so I don't know if she died in child birth with a subsequent pregnancy as was so common in those days.

I do have this line of Strongs basically back to 1585 to John Stronge of Somerset England. I will be most happy to share what I can.

One of the big mysteries is where is Charity Moak Strong buried? She died in 1837, being a mere 39 yos but we cannot find reference to her being buried beside her husband. Somebody said that perhaps she was buried in the Moak cemetery but I have no clue as to where that is.

Some collateral Strong lines for me are Wilkinson, La Boiteaux(La Boyteaux), Runyan and Stotler.

Would love to chat with you.
