I would like to make contact with anyone working on Thomas Rose Atkinson and Martha Jane Bassett. There was a Robert Lyon who posted this on the Atkinson forum in 2001: I am looking for information on a Thomas Rose Atkinson who married Martha Jane Bassett in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1857. We believe he may have left England in 1851 aboard the "Charlotte Jane" one of the first four immigrant ships to Lyttleton, Christchurch, as one Passenger List has listed certain a Mr Atkinson (no christian name, age, occupation etc. listed). Martha Jane Bassett (at this time aged 11) was also on this ship with her mother Arabella and stepfather (George Allfrey) and his children from a previous marriage. Believe Thomas Rose Atkinson was born approx 1833-1836 There is also a Warren Cook posting on GenCircles/ MyHeritage.
