Hi Listers, I am wondering if there is anyone who may share the following family. Thomas Byers Matthews born abt 1849 in Belfast County Antrim Ireland. Son of John Matthews and Mary Ferguson. John's occupation was Farm Steward Thomas was a miner/gold miner and left Ireland to go to Otago New Zealand. He died in 1897 apparently in a mining accident but have yet been able to find any records ie death etc nor where he was buried. That is all I know of the family and would be very interested in trying to find out more. If anyone can help me in any information of the family I would be most appreciated as I do not know how to access anything from Ireland. Thomas was my GG Grandfather. Thanking you all Karen Bell
