Is there an official record of Thomas Smith's death? I am not finding him in the online NZ BMD registration index. I see this Papers Past > Wanganui Herald > 22 November 1892 > Page 2 > Untitled Thomas Smith, farmer at Fitzherbert, died on Friday at the age of 48. He was born in the Makaru district, and owned a farm in the Ohariu Valley.
