My name is Thelma Nickson my great great grandfather was Daniel Nickson his son was name Walter Nickson Sr. born Sept. 4, 1882 in South Crolina he passed away Aug. 11, 1958 in Jasper, Florida He married Rosa James whom we think was born in Madison, Florida in the late 1800's his siblings were General George Nickson, Elnora Nickson, married J.D. Lovett in Valdosta, Georgia April 14, 1917 her last name in the marriage book was incorrect it's Nickson. she moved to Minnesota, Annie Nickson last known address Jacksonville, Florida Mattie Nickson lived in Miami's Coconut Grove, Florida she passed away in 1950. My father was Walter Nickson he was born in Adel, Georgia on Feb.18, 1910 he married Bessie Johnson on Sept.26, 1930 in Valdosta they had three kids Margie, Bernice, and Thelma. He later married Vernelle Roundtree they had 6 kids Rachel, Mary, Warren, Stephanie, James, and Juanita. Back to my father Walter Nickson siblings Ola Nickson born in Adel, Georgia on Aug.19, 1906 she had one kid named Daisy. Dora Nickson was born in Adel, George on March 9, 1904, Flora Nickson born Adel, Georgia April 20, 1905 passed away 6-29-1917, Ella Mary Nickson Jackson born in Adel, Georgia, date unknown, she moved to Belle Glaze,Florida she deceased there had one son Emanuel Nickson live Belle Glaze, Florida. Annie Mae Nickson born 1915 three kids Rose Lee, Annie Lou, and Blanche. General George Nickson born June 23, 1917 married Mable Lester March of 1938, they had 9 kids David, Elizabeth, Samuel, Daniel,Andrew, Jeremiah, Flora Bell, Alma, and Albert all live in Miami, Florida. Luara Bell born May 19, 1926 married Mayor Parker Aug. 7, 1948 in Valdosta,George his father was Tom Parker of Brandford, Florida. James Henry Nickson born Nov. 29, 1920 served in the army died in the 40's. Margarette Nickson McBride born in Valdosta, Georgia in 1928 married Robert McBride 5-24-1947 have 11 kids all living Lillie Mae, Bernie, Shirley Ann, Leon, Pat, Pinky, Claretha, Lois Willie Mae,and the other two I can't name. Grace Nickson Jones born 2-8-1923 married to William Jones marred in Jasper, Florida in mids 40's has one daughter Louise Jones they live in New York City, my grandmother had one brother named James James born in Madison or Belleville, Florida in 1900 died in Valdosta, Georgia in 1966 live in New York 25 or 30 years first wife name was Minnie, and second wife name was Marie of New York third Cleve of Valdosta, Georgia.
