Hi There I am starting to look into my Painting family name but very little is known about them from my side. I know that my Father, Anthony Jack Painting (Tony)- only child - - Mining Engineer - grew up and married my Mother in Birmingham. They moved out to South Africa in the 50's to work in the mining industry. I guess some more research is needed from my side here before I can move forward on this.
