Hi, Sheri, Thanks for the information .... I too had found the information about William Young and the marriage of his daughter, Elizabeth. I also found the record showing his wife's name. William J. Pegg was the son of John Pegg and Mary Margaret Young, and the brother of my greatgrandmother, Harriet Pegg (Rutledge). They were Methodist, and in fact, the Rutledge's were staunch Irish Methodist. I assumed from the fact that 1) William J. was a witness at the marriage there was a connection 2) the proximity of the Whitchurch to Mt. Albert where the Pegg's lived, and 3) not too many Protestant Irish families would name a daughter "Mary Margaret" all pointed to her connection to an Irish Catholic family. Now I just need the proof. If you do come across anything for John Pegg and Mary Margaret Young, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again.
