I am also searching for the parents of William Phillip Pegg. My great-great grandfather was John Pegg born in 1837 (William's brother). William lived with John Pegg, Mary Jane Pegg (John's wife) and their two sons William E. and Charles B. in 1870 in Jackson, Guthrie County, IA. Both were blacksmiths. John and William were born in Canada. Their parents were born in England. John Pegg's death certificate indicated that his father's name was also John Pegg. The mother's name was not listed.
