Melanie, Thanks for your help. Actually, I succeeded in obtaining a copy of Laura's death certificate this past week, and it indicates that her father was Taswell Phlieger of Virginia and her mother was Sarah Kitterman of Ohio. Do those names ring a bell? Thanks! Teri
