Lisa, I would like to run something by you. I cannot find John Wesley Polson in the 1900 census of Iowa. You stated that Elizabeth (Radcliff) Polson died 13 June 1890 in Adams Co., IA. The year of death of 1890 differs from 1896 found in Iowa Cemetery Records. I found a man in Gage Co.,NE., 1900 census, who just fits the birth (April 1820) in Indiana, for John Wesely Polson. This man's wife was a woman who obviously was a widow (10 children), but this couple had been married only 7 years. It appears to me that if the 1890 death year for Elizabeth is correct, John W. Polson could have remarried about 1893 and moved to Nebraska. Obviously, if Elizabeth did die in 1896, then either this is not our John Wesley Polson or the 7 years of marriage per the 1900 census is wrong. Can you offer any information on this and where John Wesley Polson was in 1900 and where he died?
Also, I know nothing about John Wesley Polson's line and I see you have a Thomas and a John Polson in his lineage. Can you tell me something about these two men and wives? I am not related to Polson, but my grandson is via his mother. I am doing the genealogy of my daughter-in-law in order to have it for my grandchildren on their mother's side. Thanks for any help.
