Dear Jenny, I rather know how hard it is to find any information about the family. Actually I know that the my great-grandfather had a much younger brother who moved over see, but propably to Canada. Where is your grandfather born? In Hamburg or maybe in Schwerin? Please let me know! I got one more question: are you just interested in the life of your grandfather or are you interseted of the whole genealogy of this familyname? Grettings to you Jeannette
