Roby the John and Polly Presnell mentioned here is from Yancey.John was born in Caldwell Co.Present day Alexander.Moved to Yancey as a child.His father and mother was Peter and Susan Teague Presnell.They lived at Brush Creek,Red Hill area.John married Polly(Mary) Hughes.They had a large family.Eventually moving to McDowell County.Several of their descendants and related Presnells live in that area today.I have other information but not much.A cousin in Marion has researched his grandfather Johns line .I am still waiting for a copy of his work.My address is ljpresnell@yancey.main.nc.us Lowell
