Hello Shirley, It dosen't ring a bell exactly but interesting in the fact that I just found an old book on the life of Martha Berry of the Rome, Ga. School and I saw the information that Dr. Charles Rainey was professor and wondered if he was related to my Rainey line? I have an Aunt that graduated from the Martha Berry College in 1952,so I know of the school very well. I sent her the book as a token gift last week. My Rainey line is , Ruebin Morgan Rainey of Schley Co. Ga. Son Thomas Rainey, Dau. Virginia Rainey who married George William Chapman , who had Elizabeth Catherine Chapman,who married Jordan Wilcher Willis,who had James Alton Willis,( my father) Daphne Willis Salinas
