Do you know if your Amanda had any siblings. I have an Amanda b. abt. 1849 in Tn. But I have here middle initial as E. This Amanda was my GGRandfather's sister. His name was Thomas Jefferson Rainey. He was b. we believe in Marshall Co. But of course your Amanda could have been a cousin or something. Seems like people back then named their kids the same. Let me know if you think we can connect cause I have quite a bit on this family.
