There seems to be only one Morgan Rector. He was in Morgan, Alabama on 1830 cens. Also in in Ten. and Texas. Went to Texas 1831 and owned a lot of land in various counties. His final residence was in Sequin, Tx. where his son Claiborne was killed by Indians.
