Donna: What is the name of the hard-backed book you referred to re: Richter genealogy? My husband descends from Hans Jacob Richter, John Richter (b. 1711, d. 1773). I have read about two possible mothers for their son John Rector, Jr. One source says that huis mother was Anna Elizabeth Fischbach while the other source says that his mother was Anna Catherine Fischbach. I thought that Anna Catherine Fischbach was his grandmother. Can you clrify this? Apparently John Rector Jr. married Catherine Rector (his cousin) and they had a son Captain John B. Rector III (b. 3 Oct 1764, d. 1856). He married Chloe McPherson and they had a daughter Rachel Rector who married Joseph Howard, father of George Washington Howard, my husband's great great grandfather.
