DNA link between Georgia & Arkansas The REDMOND (& variant surnames) DNA Project has it's first match among participants & links the lines descended from these oldest known ancestors: - Benjamin REDMAN m=Nov 1797 GA,Columbia-Co to Elizabeth G. (twin) MOREHEAD - Armstead=Armisted L. REDMAN=REDMOND m=1831 TN,Roane-Co to Elvira=Elvina HUGHES=HUGHS This REDMAN line is known for having the gold mine scheme in Arkansas. Can anyone provide any clues as to how they are related or take these lines further back ? Some people suggest that Armisted REDMAN was the son of a Jessie REDMAN. Please share any details you might know about this. Thanks, NICOLE Administrator of the REDMOND & variant surnames DNA Project at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/redmond/ |
