(second summons sent in November.)The word orphan was made plural. Next goal is to follow the deeds in Hardin County for the Redmon/Redmonds, etc. and also for Coonrod Walters. 219-525. Another interesting note that I found at Owensboro in Nelson C. KY Records, Vol II, Betty Cummings Cook, C.G. in the KY Records Series, pub. 1992 by Cook Publications was that Thomas Redmon was made overseer of rd. form mouth of Knob Creek to Hazle’s cabin in place of Daniel Vittetow and tithables on the North side of Rolling Fork of Salt River between the mouth of Pottinger’s Creek and the Grassy Pond to assist him, this made between 1792-1804, date of the order not on the transcription, but seems to be the same area that became Hardin County and later LaRue County. In introduction it was noted that this was the District Court Order Book An, which covered Bardstown, Jefferson, Nelson, Washington, Green, and Logan Counties. Ann Sipes, atsgene2002@yahoo.com |
