Looking for the ancestry of Reverend John Renwick b. 1735 in Antrim Ireland d. Aug 20 1775 Newberry SC buried in Cannons Creek A.R.P. Church Cemetary SC. Supposedly, born of a very religous family involved in the religous wars of Scotland. Believed to be a relative of James Renwick the last covenanter leader martyr of Scotland. John brought his Anti-Burgher congregation to SC in 1770. All leads welcomed.
