Carol, I just saw your post regarding Augustine Roads of Marblehead. Augustine Roads was the son of Samuel Roads, Jr. and Eleanor Marion Story. Augustine was born in Marblehead 21 Dec 1806, and died there 20 March 1881. The Roads family had been in the Marblehead/Lynn, MA, area since about 1630, when Henry Roads came to Lynn from Lancashire, England. Eleanor Story's father was Dr. Elisha Story, a member of the Sons of Liberty, and a participant in the Boston Tea Party. Eleanor's half-brother (they had different mothers) was Joseph Story, Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court. Bob Bailey
