My ancestor was a Josef Rogue, latter spelled ROGGIE. He emigrated to the USA in 1822, and settled in NY state. Some of his brothers and sisters settled in Canada, and Ill. These families were all Amish at that time. There are many Roggies living here in Lewis Co. NY.
