I've just begun researching my family history. I don't know much about my dad's side of the family. This is the info. I do have. My father Rodolfo Saenz was born on La Union Ranch on Sept. 24, 1924. His parents were Rodolfo Saenz and Dolores Escobedo. His father was born in 1899 in either Roma-Los Saenz or Mexico. I know that he was born in 1899 because on my father's birth certificate his age is given as 25. After my grandparents split up, my father lost all contact with the Saenz side of the family. I do have some information that my grandfather later went on to live in Red Gate TX.. I was told that he lived with a woman who was known as "La Jorobada" (sorry! This I'm told is how people referred to her) and that she owned a cafe/restaurant in Red Gate. I'm not sure if they had any children together. I was also told that he died in Red Gate in 1944. My dad also tells me that he thinks that Abuelito's brother and sister may have been named Noel and (H)erlinda Saenz. If you have any information that may help my search I would surely appreciate it.
