I am researching many families of early Pendleton, and pickens and Oconee Dist, SC. Please respond if you know anything about these: William J. M. Ferguson 1835-1810, son of James Ferguson 1785 Fairfield SC, d abt 1860-1870 Clayton Mills, Six Mile area of Pickens Co, SC. wife: Mahala Morris or Norris b 1815-1817 Fairfield Dist, SC died after 1880 at home of dau Martha E. Ferguson Perry in Orrville, Wayne Co, OH. parents of Martha E. Perry, wife of William J.M.Ferguson were: Stephen M. Perry 1808-1858 Pickens Dist, SC and Jane Youngblood 1812-1905 of Pickens Dist. dau of Samuel Youngblood and Martha ? of Pickens/Oconee,SC I have the children and records for all of these, but do not live near SC to get firsthand info at the cemeteries and court houses.
