I am researching Emma T. Lula Hinton. She was born on March 19, 1966 in Easley, Pickens County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Jermiah Hinton and Nancy and the sibling of Julius Hinton, Robert Hinton, Lawrence Hinton, Rufus Hinton, John Hinton, and Alice Hinton. Emma T. Lula Hinton married Joseph Franklin Smith on August 20, 1882 in Pickens County, South Carolina. Emma T. Lula Hinton died on March 19, 1924 in Fannin County, Texas. Emma T. Lula Hinton and Joseph Franklin Smith has nine children: Lydia Istell Smith, Myrtle Smith, Annie Smith, Coad Smith, Doch Smith, Joseph Edgar Smith, George Smith, Florence Smith, and Alice Leono Smith.
