I am seeking clarification of the family of Francis Jenkins, whose wife was named Polly, and who had a brother James who married the daughter of a Mr. John Gibson. Mr. Gibson sold land to my relative, Francis Jenkins in Pendleton District on May 20, 1799; 167-1/2 acres on the "...South Fork of Beaverdam of Toogaloe River, part of tract granted to Samuel Watt by Chas. Pinckney".
