At this stage we do not know if we have any relations in Canada or USA but would love to hear from you. Maybe the penny will drop one day and we will find that we are related. Rod's ggrandfather was Gustav Friedrich Schmidtke (some members of our immediate family spell their name with the "d" but we do not have the "d". He was born on 8 December, 1853. We believe he was born in Trzepowo, Poland. He married Johanne Emilie Muster, born 23 June, 1862 in Lobethal, South Australia, Australia. Unable to find any of his relatives.
