I'm looking for information on Andrew Alex McDonald's families. This is the information I have so far. Andrew Alex McDonald born 1819 in Edinburgh, Scotland Died July 27,1893 in Vermillion area. Married Mary Hill. Mary was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Died Sept 5, 1875. They Imm to Canada in app. 1858 with 6 children, Imm to US thru Port Huron in app. 1874. In Jan of 1875 they moved to Clay County and farmed. The children I have listed John , George H. b.1848 Scotland, Andrew Hill, b 1852 Scotland, d.1939 in Spirt Mound township, Vermillion, SD, Andrew Hill is my Grandfather, Daniel b. 1855 in Scotland, Grace b. 1858 in Scotland, Alec C. b.1859 in Canada.
