The Kay Selby you found in the SSDI is the right Kay Selby, but her two children, Richard & Joan Cotter swear up and down that Kay was born in Colorado. Richard's father, Russell Cotter, moved from Iowa to Colorado before Richard was born and met Kay there. Later on, the family moved to California where Russell Cotter passed away. Upon his death since the children were fully grown, Kay then moved to Florida. We may have to send away for the SSDI which would include Kay's parent's names, but money is extremely tight and we probably won't get around to sending away for it for a year or so. I was hoping that I could find someone who could place Kay easily without having to spend the $27.00. I just didn't realize that there were so many Selbys! Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
