Marlene, just a note to let you know that while poring through Pioneers and Cavaliers, I found an entry for a Stephens in Prince George County that mentions the same creek that is mentioned in the Samuel Sentall entries. I'm at the office now and don't have it but it's from the right era. It appears that John Stephens came to Halifax with the Sentells. The Stephens mentioned may nor may not be John but it's "almost certainly" his family. I plan to follow up on this but let me know if you have any clues to help me. Chuck
